Wintertime at South Slough

Visitors to the South Slough Estuarine and Research Reserve can bring in the New Year while enjoying nature when they plan a fun, safe trip to the Reserve this winter.

Registration is required for all programs. A week or so prior to the event attendees will receive an email containing further information about the Reserve’s new safety guidelines and efforts to help combat the spread of COVID-19. Visitors’ health and well-being are the Reserve’s top priority. Among other things visitors will need to wear a mask when social distancing of six feet cannot be maintained. A temperature check using a no-touch digital forehead thermometer will be performed at the beginning of the program. Any participants with a temperature greater than 100.4 F may not participate.
