The Met’s Live in HD, a series of high-definition live cinema transmissions, returns to the Newport Performing Arts Center for shows into June 2022.
The Met: Live in HD, the Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning series of high-definition live cinema transmissions shown in HD at the Newport Performing Arts Center, began its 15th season this year. The season continues in 2022 with Turandot on May 14 and Lucia di Lammermoor on May 21. The season closes with Hamlet on June 11. The Met: Live in HD features 5.1 surround with 80 speakers and incomparable clarity with added acoustical support from Meyer Sound’s Constellation system.
