Highway 101 south of Port Orford is open with minimal to no delays. The “Arizona Slide” that occurred in early January 2023 briefly closed the road, but it reopened to traffic later that month. While work on the road continues, vacationers will find passage open to vehicles, including RVs, with minimal delay.
The latest ODOT report (April 26, 2023) advises that road construction is occurring at the site, so motorists should prepare to slow and watch for workers. There may be periodic delays of less than 20 minutes.
