Cork & Brew Tour 2019 features an evening of tastings and revelry in downtown Tillamook on June 14. The Launch Party kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with drinks and food provided by Pelican Brewing Co. and live music from the surfer band ZuhG. Oregon-based brewers and wineries will be on tap to provide sips and wine tasting.
By 6 p.m., “tourists” are set loose with their “passports” to explore downtown. Each stop will be serving a beer and wine option along with locally-made foods from Blue Heron French Cheese Co., SaraSotas Bakery, Werner Beef & Brew, and more.
“There’s no order to the tour, so folks can hop around as they want,” says event organizer Sayde Walker, “and those who visit all ten to twelve stops can turn in their passport at the end of the night to be entered in to win a prize.”
Some of the stops include Sunflower Flats, the Tillamook Chamber of Commerce, Mike Toth Art Collective, the Tillamook Headlight Herald, to name a few.
Cork & Brew is for those age 21 and up. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased online. The event is limited to 250 participants and tickets are not available at the door. (503-842-7525; tillamookchamber.org/events)
