Heceta Head Lightstation Birthday Party

The public is also invited to the Heceta Head Lightstation Birthday Party on March 30 from 4–7 p.m. to celebrate 125 years since the Heceta Head’s First Order Fresnel Lens was lit and set into operation. Guests at the free event can enjoy hot dogs, refreshments, cupcakes, live entertainment, presentations, and tours of the Interpretive Center.

Docent led tours of the interpretive center, inside the Lightkeeper’s home—a duplex built in 1894 for the two assistants and their families—are held Memorial Day through Labor Day on a regular schedule, but private tours can be arranged throughout the year. 866-547-3696
